Luis Palomares Frias
Luis Palomares is originally from the state of Michoacán, Mexico. In the year of 1947 he entered the Popular School of Fine Arts of Morelia. In 1950 - 1954 he completed his professional studies at the National School of Plastic Arts U.N.A.M. (Academy of San Carlos), where he graduated after having made a working tour of Central America for more than a year (1955 - 1956) preparing his professional exam (1957). From this date he worked in the S.E.P. and in the U.N.A.M. as a drawing teacher for more than 30 years; He is currently retired from teaching, devotes all his time to artistic production. He has traveled the United States of America, Central America and Europe, since 1947 he has actively participated in plastic exhibitions, the most important ones are listed in his respective section of this WEB page.
